Sta. Catalina Multi-Purpose Cooperative Believes in:
- The dignity of man, ethical values of honesty, openness, social responsibility and caring for others.
- That people helping themselves and mutual trust and cooperation is imperative to attain sustainable community development.
ORGANIZATIONAL MANDATE
As an Organization that is owned and managed by the members, the cooperative is mandated to develop and implement programs and services aimed at improving the quality of life of the members and must maintain a high degree of transparency and accountability.
OBJECTIVES
- To increase the income and purchasing power of the members.
- To stimulate capital formation through systematic and continuous savings for development activities.
- To extend credit to members for production and providential purposes.
- To provide and supply production inputs, commodities, consumer goods, post harvest facilities and medical services to members.
- To purchase, collect, process and transport agri-product of the members and to establish linkages with domestic and foreign markets.
- To involve in community activities such as sports and other developmental programs.
- To provide farmer-members proper training on the method of Organic farming.
- To conduct publicity and/or research work for the promotion of the cooperative and to advance the cooperative movement as a vehicle for improving the economic, cultural and political status of the people.
- To undertake continuous cooperative education for its members as well as The General Public in the Principle Practices and Philosophy of Cooperative.
